Steam Powered Passenger Travel Comes to Whalesland
1854 was an exciting year for Whalesland with the introduction of passenger train travel. This was a very popular event which showcased Whalesland as economically progressive and a good place to do business.
Rail coaches pulled by the Adler steam engine reduced travel time by half. At full speed passengers were being transported to their destination at nearly 40 kilometers and hour. An unheard of speed only a couple of years ago.
