uPortal Adoption - University of Nevada Education Department (PDF) <br/> uPortal <br/> A Common Institutional Information Portal For Higher Education <br/> 2003 Annual Report <br/> uPortal has been adopted by more than 150 colleges and universities around the world. Approximately 100 universities have installed uPortal. These can be identified only when they join the uPortal discussion lists or respond to annual surveys. Response to an October Web survey confirmed the following institutions had adopted uPortal.

Sakai will also announce new commercial support and new board members at its first community conference in Denver, Colo. <br/><br/> The Sakai software, developed as a $6.8 million synchronized project of the University of Michigan, Indiana University, Stanford University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is being released to the Sakai Educational Partners for review and testing today. It will be made available to the public July 15.
