---++ Overview of cource
The goal of this course is to:
- Teach core concepts of worked processing
Enable trainee to become proficient applying the core concepts using <nop>OpenOffice Writer.
The course is designed for a lab environment. Usually an instructor will introduce the topic(s) for the day. Then the student will work thought the examples at their own pace. Assistance will be available during the lab.
The course is an open environment and students are invited / urged to return to the material on their own time and rework the example material until the concepts are clear.

The instruction fulfills a goal of Universal Access by focusing on <nop>OpenOffice. <nop>OpenOffice is part of the Open Source revolution It is free to download and use. It runs on almost every type of workstation. And, this, it will be a major player in elimination the digital divide.
